The Abilene Convention & Visitor's Bureau (CVB) is a department of the City of Abilene, serves as the marketing arm of the City and is a state-designated Travel Information Center.

The Convention & Visitor's Bureau provides services to tourists and groups visiting or convening in Abilene.

Abilene is rich in historical landmarks, including the CVB's Travel Information Center located at the east end of the restored 1928 Union Pacific Depot at 201 NW Second Street.

• Not all forms in the packet apply to every event—only complete those relevant to yours.
• Items requiring City Commission approval may take extra time—plan accordingly.
• Incomplete applications cannot be processed. Ensure all forms are fully completed and accurate.
• Event organizers are responsible for submitting applications on time and ensuring vendors obtain proper permits.
