City and County Withdraws from 14th and Van Buren Intersection Project

During the August 26, 2024, City Commission meeting, Dickinson County Dickinson County chose to withdraw its support for the cost-share project, offering instead to fund basic improvements to the area using county resources. Consequently, the City Commission voted to rescind the grant funds, returning them to KDOT, and decided not to pursue the project further.
