Class #1 email reminder

Community Academy Class 1:

Tuesday, Sept 16, 6-9pm, Smith West Conference Room - Government Center
People, Program, Pledge: County admin, boards & commissions, county attorney, electoral board, facilities, HR, IT

• Arrive 5-10 minutes early. We would like to complete sign-in so that we can start promptly at 6pm.
• Send regrets. If you know you have to miss this class, please let me know as soon as possible (I’ve already heard about a few conflicts.)
• Snacks. Feel free to bring them along with drinks or water bottles.
• Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We will tour part of the building.

**Parking: **
The best entrance to park near is the boardroom entrance (google map link https://maps.app.goo.gl/iHFYZpT4gsfeHKfB7).
Turning into the parking lot from Dick Huff Lane, you will come to the main entrance under the flags. Turn right and then immediately turn left to follow the road down the side of the building. Take your first left into the parking lot. You may find a parking space there and can enter through either the first portico with an “18” above the door (when you are inside the building, turn right to go towards Smith West) or through the “School Board Office” entrance (when inside the building, turn left).

LInked here you will find a copy of the county’s photo release form and liability waiver and an ambassador pledge & guidelines form. You will be asked to sign the two forms at our first class. They are attached for your reference and preview. You are welcome to sign and email the forms back, but it is not necessary.
