Large Diameter Sewer Repairs

The City of Avondale is committed to maintaining critical infrastructure that supports safe and reliable services for our community. As part of this effort, the Public Works Department is partnering with Insituform Technologies to rehabilitate aging sewer line segments along Thomas Road and Santa Fe Trail. This important construction project will utilize advanced methods to repair interior pipe surfaces without disrupting sewer or water services to nearby residences and businesses. Residents and businesses near the project area can expect to see construction activity, including trucks, equipment, and personnel working around manholes, as well as temporary bypass pumps operating around the clock to divert wastewater during the repair process. While access will be maintained at all times and interruptions kept to a minimum, we encourage feedback and questions from the community. Your input ensures that we uphold transparency and minimize inconvenience as we carry out these necessary upgrades to safeguard Avondale’s infrastructure services.
