Old Town Public Art Community Voting

The City of Avondale is excited to invite residents to play an active role in shaping the creative vision for Old Town Avondale. Three proposed sculptures—New Horizon, Rise, and Balance—have been inspired by community feedback gathered from the November Community Outreach Night at Sam Garcia Library. These public art installations are planned to serve as the centerpiece for the future Old Town Plaza, located at the corner of Western and Dysart Roads. Your voice in selecting the artwork will help ensure this space reflects the spirit and values of our vibrant community.

This initiative underscores Avondale's commitment to transparent and inclusive decision-making processes. Community input will be shared with the Municipal Art Committee at its February 17 meeting as a reference to inform discussion. The Municipal Art Committee will be responsible for making the final selection.
