Avondale Community Excellence (ACE) Awards

Avondale is proud to celebrate the vibrant businesses that serve as the backbone of our community through the upcoming recognition initiative. From January 12 to February 6, 2026, residents have the chance to participate in the People's Choice voting survey, a key element in spotlighting organizations that have made a lasting impact on the city’s culture and economy. This city-wide effort reflects Avondale’s commitment to fostering growth, supporting local businesses, and honoring outstanding contributions to the community.

The People’s Choice Award encapsulates the spirit of community engagement, offering residents a platform to directly influence the selection process. With the first round of nominations open January 12-23, 2026, residents can rally behind their favorite Avondale establishments. The top three nominated businesses will move forward to the final voting stage, where the public will determine the winner. This initiative concludes with the announcement of winners at Avondale’s State of the City event on March 12, 2026, showing how public input plays a vital role in shaping this truly collaborative recognition.
