Bridge Housing

Avondale is dedicated to fostering a community where all residents have access to safe and supportive housing solutions. As part of the City Council’s ongoing commitment to addressing the needs of unsheltered families, we are initiating a project that will create temporary housing units to provide stability and resources for vulnerable households. This initiative is strategically designed to empower Avondale families while creating pathways to sustainable, long-term housing solutions. Located near the Arizona Complete Health Avondale Resource Center, this project will ensure residents can access critical services such as employment assistance and housing support. By design, each of the six housing units will include two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom to offer families a functional living space during their transition. We value community input and encourage residents to share their perspectives, as these insights will play a vital role in shaping decisions throughout this project.
