Franklin Park Playground Replacement
Coming in 2027
Franklin Neighborhood Park (1315 NW 58th St.) is getting a new playground! This 12-acre park serves the Fruit Valley and Northwest neighborhoods.
Overview
Installed in 2007, the play equipment at Franklin Neighborhood Park is in poor condition. It does not meet current ADA standards and will become a safety concern if it is not replaced. In 2027, Vancouver Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services will replace the play equipment to better serve the surrounding neighborhoods.
The budget for this project is focused on replacing the play equipment in the existing playground location. The project may include adding a few additional amenities like benches, picnic tables, bike racks and trash cans. It will not include other updates to the park.
Stay connected
Thank you to everyone who completed the online pre-design survey in June! Park planners are reviewing responses and will present a design concept based on your feedback at a future open house at the park.
