Edgewood Park

About
Welcome to the Edgewood Park Project Page! The City of Bettendorf's Parks & Recreation Department renovated this neighborhood park with a modern playground and rentable shelter in 2026 and this page was created to keep the community updated during the process.
Check out the pictures below to see Edgewood Park's new playground and shelter. These upgrades were voted on by parkgoers during a Community Input Event in 2025. In September 2025, City Council approved both upgrades. The $132,069 state-of-the-art playground system from BCI Burke Company, LLC replaced the existing playground, which was estimated to be more than 15 years old, and the $92,283 shelter is from Creative Sites.
If you have any questions/concerns, feel free to contact John Byrnes, Parks & Recreation Director at jbyrnes@bettendorf.org or (563) 344-4122.
The Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department has a simple mission - “To provide accessible, diverse, and inclusive experiences that enhance the quality of life and create a sense of place and community for all”. Our goal is to work everyday to give you, the residents of Bettendorf, the best experience possible while we enhance quality of life offerings in our community.
