Friendship Park Playground Installation Update

Spring is here, and with the weather finally cooperating, the City of Bettendorf's Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce that crews are resuming their work on installing the new playground at Friendship Park!

Installation began the week of February 9, 2026, but was paused due to the weather. It's now expected to resume this week and is expected to be completed in the coming weeks, weather permitting. The rest of Friendship Park will remain open as construction occurs in the playground area.
