Kiwanis Park

4223 Greenbrier Drive, Bettendorf

Welcome to the Kiwanis Park Project Page! The City of Bettendorf's Parks & Recreation Department is renovating this park and this page will keep you updated as we KICKSTART Kiwanis Park!

Kiwanis Park (4223 Greenbrier Drive) features a baseball field & batting cage, recently repainted pickleball courts, a recently added StoryWalk, two tennis courts, a rentable park shelter, a public restroom, a playground, and in July of 2026, a new futsal court. The futsal court was approved by City Council in 2025, who also set a budget of $150,000 to replace the aging playground and further enhance this park. For updates, be sure to subscribe to this special webpage created for these projects!

The Parks & Recreation Department is focusing its attention on the playground replace and is asking for you to share your thoughts on what kind of playground you'd like installed by attending a Community Input Event on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 5-7 p.m. at Kiwanis Park. There will be free food and an opportunity for park-goers of all ages to "make their mark" on their favorite playground features as well as submit their own ideas on what should replace the existing playground, which is estimated to be more than 20 years old.

For a timeline of the project, see below. If you have any questions/concerns during this process, feel free to contact John Byrnes, Parks & Recreation Director at jbyrnes@bettendorf.org or (563) 344-4122.

The Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department has a simple mission - “To provide accessible, diverse, and inclusive experiences that enhance the quality of life and create a sense of place and community for all”. Our goal is to work everyday to give you, the residents of Bettendorf, the best experience possible while we enhance quality of life offerings in our community.

"Kiwanis Park is an example of an incredible neighborhood park that offers something for everyone. We want this park to offer what you, the users, want to see added, and the Community Input Event on May 14, 2026 is the perfect opportunity to give us your feedback! We are so excited about the investments into the park and can't for the coming months to see kids on the new playground and futsal court as we continue to 'Kickstart Kiwanis.'"
