Edgewood Park

Welcome to the Edgewood Park Project Page! The City of Bettendorf's Parks & Recreation Department is renovating this neighborhood park and this page will keep you updated as we ENERGIZE Edgewood Park!

Check out the picture below to see Edgewood Park's new playground, which is NOW OPEN! It was part of the winning concept plan chosen by the community after a Community Input Event in May 2025, where attendees voted for their favorite updates to Edgewood Park. The other part of that concept plan is a new shelter, which is expected to be constructed in June 2026, weather permitting.

Both the playground and the shelter were approved by City Council in September 2025. The $132,069 state-of-the-art playground system from BCI Burke Company, LLC replaced the existing playground, which was estimated to be more than 15 years old, and the $92,283 shelter is from Creative Sites.
