Arbor Day in November Tree Planting Tomorrow!

Arbor Day in November Tree Planting on Saturday, November 22 - 9:00am - Noon

The Oak Valley Elementary School PTSA and City of Buellton's 1000 Trees Initiative are observing Arbor Day late this year by hosting a tree planting event at Oak Valley Middle School. Thirty (30) trees will be planted by volunteers on the morning of Saturday, November 22 (that's tomorrow) on the Oak Valley campus.

Additional volunteers are welcome. Please bring a rake and/or shovel if you'd like to volunteer to help plant the trees, or just come out and give your suppport to the first public event of the City's 1000 Trees Initiative, which aims to dramatically increase the number of trees on public and private property here in Buellton.

The event begins at 9:00 am and anticipates being finished by about Noon.
