- The Buellton BBQ Bonanza event is coming up on July 25. Be on the lookout for postcards that will serve as your "meal tickets" which should be sent out to your mailboxes the week of July 10 or shortly after.
- Pet Microchip Scanning Stations have been installed at all City Parks and at the Humane Society. These scanners are used to track down owners of found animals so they can be returned quickly.
- Construction and occupancy at the Buellton Garden Apartments project (behind Albertson's & CVS) is anticipated to be completed in the end of July.
- The Buellton Rec summer camp program is in full swing and keeping our Recreation staff very busy. Our campers are having a great time!
- Our Recreation Department, in partnership with the Recreation Department in Solvang, is coordinating an aquatics program at Santa Ynez Valley High School pool. This program includes both swim lessons (2 sessions on weekday afternoons) and open recreational swimming sessions (Monday-Friday 1-3pm, and Saturday 1-5 pm through August 1).
