New Wildfire Protection information & Wildfire Community Meeting

A link has been placed on the City's Wildfire Information page on Buellton Engage. This link has been added to the bottom of the list of links under "Plan and Prepare for Wildfire" on the right side of the page. Please visit this link for tips to ensure that your home is protected from the hazards of wildfire.

Also, On Monday, March 31, the City of Buellton will be co-hosting a Community Meeting with County Supervisor Joan Hartmann on "Preparing the Santa Ynez Valley for the Threat of Wildfire". This meeting will be held from 5:30-7:30 at the Solvang City Coucnil Chamber, at Solvang City Hall, 1644 Oak Street in Solvang. Topics to be covered include: Fire Risk Assessment, Firewise Community Program, Large Animal Evacuations, and a Community Wildfire Protection Plan. All are welcome to attend.
