Post Storm Street Clean-up

The recent storm systems have moved through, and we're hopeful that we'll have clear weather for the next week or so. Clean-up efforts are underway for mud in the streets. City staff will be out to remove most of it today (if they didn't catch it over the weekend), and we've ordered street sweepers to further clean affected areas. We hope to have the sweepers here tomorrow, but there may be a delay as Buellton isn't the only area with mud in the streets.

To aid in the clean-up process, please remove vehicles from the street in areas where mud, sand, or gravel have been deposited in the roadway.

We are reaching out to owners of properties outside the City from which mud or other debris has been washed into the City and will endeavor to have them correct the situation to minimize future flows into the City.
