A Benefits Fair will be conducted on April 8 at Oak Valley Elementary School to assist those in need to ensure that they are able to receive benefits that they may be eligible for. Various government and non-profit organizations (with more wanting to join in by the day) will be on hand from 3:00 – 7:00 in the Oak Valley Multipurpose room to provide information and assistance.
The City of Buellton has been granted the designation of Tree City USA for 2025 by the National Arbor Day Foundation. This honor is the result of a concerted effort by the City Council to adopt policies and regulations pertaining to tree planting, care and preservation, as well as efforts of the supporters of the 1000 Trees Initiative which has created a tree planting effort that has planted more than 50 trees in the City over the past year and will plant dozens more in the months to come.
