The Buellton Hub Project
The “Buellton Hub” or BUE-17 Project consists of the construction of a mixed use project, including the following uses:
- 50 Apartment units and a community center in three buildings. There is a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom units
- 46,676 square feet of industrial space in 4 buildings
- 28,066 square feet of office/business space in 2 buildings with 4 rooftop residential units
- 323 parking spaces
- Dedicated open space with public trails and paths
- Restoration of Zaca Creek
- A 3-lot tentative tract map for airspace condominium purposes to allow sale of individual residential and industrial/commercial units
The project is a mixed use project that allows residential units within the Industrial (M) zone. The property is zoned M (Industrial and Manufacturing) on the northern portion and OS (Open Space) on the southern portion.

The Project was approved by the City Council on February 22, 2018.
Time Extension Approved
A Time Extension was approved by the City Council on November 10, 2022.

A Time Extension was approved by the City Council on September 28, 2023 (TTM 31061 only).

The Project has been scheduled for Public Hearing with the Planning Commission on February 15th, 2024 (16-FDP-06 Time Extension only).
