Willemsen Barn

Upper Willemsen Property Ad-Hoc Committee

The City of Buellton is seeking community input on future uses for a 0.68-acre green space (the “Willemsen Green”) portion of the 24-acre City-owned property at 202 Dairyland Road.

The improvements currently include a library, an outdoor children’s museum, an event facility, and sports fields. Specific long-range uses for the Willemsen Green section of the property were not detailed in the approved plan for the site, and the City wants to hear your ideas for its future!

The City Council's Ad Hoc Committee for the Hundred Hills School Site (comprising the Mayor and the First District City Council Representative) will hold a series of meetings to discuss future uses for the site. All are welcome to attend and give input into the process that will investigate potential long-term uses of the site following the end of the Hundred Hills School license.

Over 300 residents completed our survey on what they would like to see at the Willemsen Green site in the future and the results can be viewed here.
