• The Buellton Wine and Chili Festval will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 from Noon to 4:30 at Flying Flags RV Resort. Chili and salsa sampling is the order of the day, with local wine, spirits, and beer included as part of the ticket price. Tickets can be purchased HERE. Don’t wait. They sell out fast.
• The second meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee to discuss future use of the Willemsen Green (Hundred Hills School site) at 202 Dairyland Road took place this past Wednesday evening. The meeting was well attended with well over 20 participants. The next meeting will be scheduled for a date in the May/June timeframe. • Jersey Mike’s Subs in the Crossroads Center will be open starting next Wednesday, 2/25! A ribbon cutting event will be held by the Chamber at 10:00 on the 25th.
• The Cottage Medical Building project at 515 McMurray Road was approved by the Planning Commission at a public hearing held this past Thursday, 2/19.
• The Farmer’s Market License Agreement will go before the City Council for consideration at the meeting of 2/26. If approved, the operator plans to begin operating the Farmer’s Market on Monday, 3/16.
• As a reminder, the Annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be held Saturday, March 28 at River View Park. The event is huge and will start at 10:00am SHARP! Get there early. No joke. Don’t forget to add time to park and get to the site. Seriously, if you’re even a few minutes late, you’ll miss the joy and chaos that makes this event a family favorite.
