Construction is moving forward on the new Calcasieu Parish Judicial Complex, with steady progress made over the past six weeks. Crews are installing box culverts that will form part of the site’s new drainage system, helping manage stormwater more efficiently. Work is also underway in the former Magnolia Building parking lot, where the new mechanical yard will house the HVAC and electrical systems for the facility. In addition, a portion of the old Magnolia Building parking garage has been demolished to make way for the next phase of construction.
