Ham Reid Road Extension Project

The Ham Reid Road Extension Project is the next step in improving connectivity and infrastructure in South Lake Charles. Following the successful completion of the roundabout at Elliot Road and Ham Reid Road, this phase focuses on extending Ham Reid Road west to Big lake Road where a new roundabout will be constructed. This will eventually create an east to west corridor from Lake Street to Big Lake Road.

The project is designed in compliance with Calcasieu Parish Engineering Standards and the LADOTD Manual of Standard Practice and Specifications to ensure safe and efficient travel for the community. Updates will be shared as progress continues toward enhancing the area’s infrastructure.
