Twenty-Four Week Update

We are officially 24 weeks into construction of the new Calcasieu Parish Judicial Complex!

Since our last update:

• A temporary sidewalk and ramp have been added to the west side of the Parish Government Building to support safe emergency exits during construction.
• The chiller has been relocated to the new mechanical yard.
• A drainage trench was excavated, and piping has been installed to improve site drainage.
• A few initial grade beam pours have been completed.
• The former parking garage has been completely demolished.
• Crews have finished excavating elevator pits.
