2025 Eagle Expo

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury invited residents to attend the 2025 Eagle Expo in April of 2025, at the Burton Complex, 7001 Gulf Highway, Lake Charles. This free, family-friendly event gave residents a first-hand look into the many departments that help Calcasieu Parish run smoothly. The Eagle Expo was all about educating the community on parish services while meeting the people behind them.

Here’s what attendees enjoyed:

• Touch a Truck: Attendees got up close to parish vehicles like the Mobile Command Center, the “Trashformer” Litter Robot, a transit bus, a mosquito spray truck, a mini excavator, an RC mower, and more!

• Interactive Department Booths: Residents met the teams who keep Calcasieu Parish running smoothly.

• Animal Services with Adoptable Pets: Visitors met furry friends from Animal Services and learned about pet adoption opportunities.

• Bingo & Raffle Prizes: Guests grabbed Bingo cards and collected stamps at different booths for a chance to win. Prize drawings were held every 15 minutes!
