The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury’s Division of Engineering and Public Works is inviting residents to take part in a transportation survey. This survey will gather feedback on traffic concerns in unincorporated areas of the parish to help update the Calcasieu Parish Master Transportation Thoroughfare Plan (MTTP). The updated plan aims to improve the transportation network by preserving rights-of-way, enhancing connectivity, and
supporting growth.
Goals:
- Reevaluate the transportation network.
- Adjust street designations as needed.
- Assess the need for preserving rights-of-way for thoroughfares.
- Make recommendations for implementation.
