Taking into account the unpredictability of Mother Nature and the potential for severe weather in our area, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) has implemented the 'Rain Gauge System'. With over 150 rain gauges strategically placed around Calcasieu Parish, this system provides real-time data on rainfall and drainage, helping ensure the safety of our residents and contributing towards better-informed local government decision making.
