River Bluff Park Pavilion & Walking Path
River Bluff Park Development Plan: Phase 3
River Bluff Park Pavilion and Walking Path
This phase of the River Bluff Park Development Plan continues to deliver items that were discussed from the master planning program developed with Moss Bluff residents in 2011. These improvements seek to address the interconnective portions of the program - focusing on social, environmental, and physical attractions in the park. This includes a venue to gather for special events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and family gatherings, as well as a raised walking path, providing access to the wetlands and river front.
Major Improvements:
• New park pavilion (event center)
• Elevated walking paths through wetlands and river front
• New tournament pavilion near boat launch
• Site infrastructure improvements - electrical, lighting, security
• Emergency suction supply at boat launch (fire/life/safety)
• Minor picnic pavilion and splash pad improvements – refresh and reseal exterior components
Project Details:
• Project Architect – David Brossett Architects
• General Contractor – Keiland Construction
• Construction Time: 397 Calendar Days
