36-Week Update

Judicial Complex Project

Progress continues on the new Calcasieu Parish Judicial Complex as we reach 36 weeks of construction. Structural steel installation has begun on the north end of the site, and the building framework is starting to take shape. Elevator towers are also rising at multiple locations across the project. Crews have completed all concrete slab pours, marking a major milestone with a fully established foundation.

“Graphic titled ‘Judicial Complex 36-Week Update.’ The background shows a partially demolished concrete parking structure with exposed rebar in the foreground and downtown buildings behind it under a clear blue sky. Three large hexagon-shaped photo callouts highlight construction progress. The left hexagon shows elevator towers rising from the project site, with text stating that elevator towers are being built and can be seen at multiple locations across the site. The center hexagon shows structural steel framing going up, with text stating that steel installation has officially begun on the north end and the building framework is starting to take shape. The right hexagon shows a broad concrete slab area, with text stating that crews have completed all concrete slab pours to reveal a fully established foundation. Along the bottom, the graphic includes the Police Jury seal, a note to text ‘judicial’ to 78015 for updates, and the website calcasieu.gov/judicialcomplex for more information.”
