Development of the Fiscal Year 2027 budget is underway! More than 650 residents participated in the community budget survey, helping to shape key priorities.

You can review a summary of community input or watch the presentation shared by staff (minute 51:33) during this week’s Board of County Commissioners meeting.

If you haven’t yet shared your input on how Charles County Government should prioritize spending for the upcoming fiscal year, there is still time to participate. Attend the public hearing on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, to review the proposed budget and provide feedback.
