The Chicago Police Department, in partnership with Matrix Consulting Group, is undertaking a comprehensive analysis to evaluate how our officers and resources are allocated to better serve Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods, meet the requirements of the consent decree, and respond to the city’s evolving public safety needs. Through careful review and community-informed insights, this effort will examine critical areas like patrol staffing, crisis intervention, and community partnership strategies to ensure a safer, stronger Chicago for everyone.
