#Making a Difference

The Cirencester Commonplace is your space to engage and communicate with Cirencester Town Council; through commonplace we want to:

• create a sense of civic pride and support those in need;
• build strength and resilience through a thriving community;
• be a voice and advocate for the people and place of Cirencester;
• take the lead, being in-tune with the democracy and community needs of our time and future;
• be a conduit for, and humanitarian in, helping residents.

We are committed to making a difference for the better; working together with you, whether you live, visit, work, have a business or go to school, college or university in Cirencester.

Through the community-led preparation of a neighbourhood plan www.cirencesternp.org, we identified five key themes which are important:

• development, design and the built environment
• environment and climate change
• community, culture and leisure
• access, infrastructure and transport
• economy, business and retail

The live 24/7 map and survey provides you with the opportunity to tell us what matters to you, what you like about Cirencester and where you live and what would be better; to help us provide the right type of facilities and resources that will make a difference to the social, environmental and economic well-being of the community.
