Latest Annual Town Survey Feedback

We've received a good response to the Annual Town Survey, with over 50 contributions so far. The more responses we receive the better understanding we'll have of your views.

So what does AI make of the comments received so far! 

Comments highlight the varying importance of projects, with many prioritising Abbey Grounds due to its central location and role in community activities and tourism. Others emphasise the need for better children's facilities and flood management, particularly in areas like Kingshill and City Bank. Concerns about public toilets and the need for a cleaner town centre are voiced, alongside recognition of the value of open spaces. Some believe that projects with broader community benefits, like improved pathways and pedestrian areas, should take precedence over others.

It's great to see that 72.7% of contributions are positive or mostly positive with 77.8% respondents happy with Cirencester as a place to live, work, or go to school/college/uni. 

Also, 72.7% are satisfied with the services and facilities provided by the Town Council, that's currently up from 64.2% in 2024.
