Funding news

Plans to transform the Selby Centre into a brand-new urban village have received a huge boost after the council was awarded more than £2m of funding. The new money comes from the latest round of the government’s Brownfield Land Release Fund, which helps transform underused land into homes. Haringey secured £2.7m in total to support the delivery of 225 council homes, of which 202 are planned for Selby Urban Village and the others spread across three other sites in the borough.

In 2023, we were also awarded £20 million of new funding as part of the Leveling up Fund that was submitted.
