Sportsplex Optimization Project
Coral Springs is exploring the exciting opportunity of expanding our city’s recreational offerings with a state-of-the-art sports complex designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing community. This project reflects our commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents by promoting wellness, community connections, and a vibrant recreational culture through sports and fitness.
The City of Coral Springs awarded a contract to Sports Facilities Development, LLC of Clearwater, Florida for the Facility Optimization & Recreation Master Planning Service to develop a piece of vacant land located behind the Aquatics Complex on Sportsplex Drive for state-of-the-art gymnasium facility to include basketball courts, track, bleachers, fitness center, and locker rooms. The firm will reimagine the current Aquatics Complex and Tennis Center to enhance functionality and aesthetics. This is to serve as a world class facility for sports activities, events, and competitions.
