San Fernando Gardens

About

The San Fernando Gardens Neighborhood Engagement Area (NEA) is located in the Pacoima Community of Los Angeles, and defined by the following borders: Van Nuys Boulevard to the North, Pierce Street to the South, Norris Street to the East, and Pala Avenue to the West. The San Fernando Gardens NEA encompasses the San Fernando Gardens Housing Development which comprises 448 quality, affordable housing units, owned and managed through the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA). The CSP San Fernando Gardens Team works collaboratively with HACLA, in addition to local residents and community-based partners in the public and private sectors to support a healthy quality of life for all community members. Fun Fact: The San Fernando Gardens was built during World War II to house laborers at the Lockheed aerospace manufacturing facilities, in the City of Burbank. It is the northernmost housing development owned and operated through HACLA.
