Stay Connected

From June to August 2026, community members shared their ideas, experiences, and priorities for parks and recreation through an online survey and in-person events across the region. This included open houses, pop-up events, focus groups, and more. Additional engagement, including engagement with Indigenous Nations, youth-focused activities, and targeted interviews and meetings, is underway and will continue into the early fall. Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate so far. Your feedback is helping us better understand what people value most, where improvements are needed, and how parks and recreation spaces, amenities, and services can better meet community needs. We look forward to reporting back on what we heard through this process soon. Stay tuned for updates!
