Dallas is at a pivotal moment as the heart of our Downtown Urban Core continues its transformation into a vibrant, inclusive, and modern hub. Guided by a commitment to repurpose historic buildings, attract new businesses, and actively plan for future sports venues, this initiative is already seeing meaningful progress. Since May 2024, the City has successfully leveraged $152 million in incentives to catalyze over $512 million in private investment, yielding new housing, hotels, and job opportunities. Moreover, with the approval of $30 million for the new Fire Station No. 18, this project is as much about safety and infrastructure as it is about growth and revitalization.
