Dallas Law Enforcement Training Center Construction Project

Dallas Law Enforcement Training Center Construction Project

The City of Dallas is taking important steps to enhance public safety by revisiting and advancing plans for state-of-the-art police training facilities. Originally developed in 2021 through a partnership between the Dallas Police Department (DPD) and the University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD), this initiative aimed to provide both foundational and advanced training for active officers. However, changes in leadership, campus limitations at UNTD, and new opportunities tied to the 2024 bond program have made it clear that the plan must be updated to better reflect the complex and evolving needs of our city’s public safety professionals.

As we move forward, the City of Dallas is committed to ensuring this process remains inclusive, transparent, and grounded in the priorities of our diverse community. Please sign up to receive updates and stay informed.
