Ralston Avenue Roundabouts
About
The City of Defiance, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), has proposed a project to construct single lane roundabouts at the intersections of Ralston Avenue and Anthony Wayne Boulevard and Ralston Avenue and Harding Street. The project will also include sidewalks along Ralston Avenue. The project is necessary to reduce congestion and improve safety at the intersections. Construction is currently scheduled to begin after April 2026.

Project Comment Period Ends
To ensure the proposed project is viable and successful, ODOT is seeking comments from the public about the social, environmental, and economic impacts of this proposed project. Environmental impacts include those involving archaeological, architectural, and ecological resources, hazardous materials and the general location of the project. Open House Public Meeting for Project Information
A public meeting open house has been scheduled for September 17, 2024 at ProMedica Hospital, 1200 Ralston Avenue, Defiance OH 43512. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 7:30 p.m.
