Pickleball Court renovation project

About

As a testament to our ongoing commitment to fostering community spaces and recreation, the city of DeLand is gearing up for an exciting enhancement project: a comprehensive renovation of our existing pickleball and tennis court complex. Driven by the growing popularity of pickleball, and coupled with user feedback about the current infrastructure's inadequacy and lack of suitable shading, this project aims to maintain DeLand as a hub for sports enthusiasts while increasing the quality of our recreational amenities.

On October 1st, we will spring into action with an impressive budget of $3.189 million earmarked specifically for this endeavor. As we embark on this journey of designing and building an excellent new complex, we wholeheartedly encourage our residents to take an active part in guiding this process. Your insight and ideas are crucial to ensuring the renovated court facilities meet the community’s needs, embody our city’s spirit, and resonate with everyone who loves pickleball and tennis.
