Steering Committee Meeting Recap & Community Forum dates

The Steering Committee comprised of community members met for the first time on Wednesday at the Chisholm Community Center. The meeting was largely an organizational meeting where they met city staff and were given presentations on the structure of the City of DeLand government as well as issues being examined by the city's Planning Department.

The committee will meet now at 6 p.m. every fourth Thursday at the Sanborn Center through the rest of the year.

Additionally, we have set dates for upcoming community forums for our residents to be involved. Each meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at their respective locations with light snacks provided.

The meeting dates are as follows:
