That’s why the Town of Vassalboro is taking action through our Affordable Housing Initiative, dedicated to ensuring that everyone — from young families to retirees — has access to a home they can afford right here in our community.

By partnering with the Waterville Housing Authority, MaineHousing, and local developers, the town is working to expand affordable housing options and connect residents to the resources they need. Programs like Dearborn Hill Apartments are already helping local families by offering income-based rental units where monthly payments are tailored to what each household can afford. Through rental assistance, housing vouchers, and community support services, we’re helping our neighbors stay rooted in Vassalboro and continue contributing to our shared future.
