Park Master Plan

Hallowing Point Park is one of the oldest and most used parks in Calvert County. The 1998 Master Plan helped steer park development over the last two decades, but it is outdated.

The 2023-2024 Master Plan process will assess current and future needs of the community, establish a long-range vision for the park, help prioritize and budget for development, and build support for these ideas. The plan will serve as the guiding light for the future of Hallowing Point Park and enable CCPR to keep pace with and support the growth of Calvert County.

CCPR is working to improve parks across the entire county, and we encourage residents to take an active role in shaping the development and maintenance of their recreational spaces.
