January Update (Happy New Year)

Happy 2026 to those waiting for and working on the Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 Road and Bridge Project! The project is tracking to be complete in January 2027 with a possible "soft" opening in late 2026. Weather, materials, and unforeseen issues can always impact construction schedules, but Sinacola has been making excellent progress and is motivated to complete this project as fast as possible.

Looking Back at 2025 I want to take a moment to share and celebrate the successes that were tackled:

1. Railroad Agreement - Executed

2. Sinacola Re-mobilized, hit the ground running by clearing up site and creek

3. Hilltop Road Reconstruction Complete - Expedited to minimize resident, commuter, and school impact

4. Northbound FM 1830 Right-Turn Lane Complete - Expedited to minimize resident and school impact and to help newly reconstructed Hilltop Road

5. Bridge Substructure Construction Resumed - Abutments, Drill Shafts, Columns, Caps all showing the shape of the new bridge

6. Traffic Signal at FM 1830/Country Club Road/Brush Creek - Need Confirmed! Design Contract Executed, 60% Designs Complete, Funding Source Identified for 2026

7. Multiple Gas Company Agreements - Executed

8. Gasline Relocations - Started

9. Steel Girder Deliveries Commenced
