Denton Parks and Recreation will temporarily close three recreation centers this summer to complete scheduled facility updates and repairs. These closures will follow a staggered timeline to ensure that only one rec center is closed at any given time. The planned improvements are part of the City’s commitment to maintaining safe, high-quality facilities for all residents, members, and visitors.
All active membership passes will remain valid throughout the scheduled closures. Members may use their passes at any open recreation center during regular operating hours. Members age 50 and above may also access the Denton Senior Center and American Legion Hall Senior Center.
