Detour! Hickory Creek Road & Riverside Drive Closures
DETOUR !!
WHAT IS HAPPENING? - Hickory Creek Road and Riverpass Drive are temporarily being re-routed to/from Waterside Place and Riverchase Trail.
WHY ARE WE BEING DETOURED?
In addition to the new Hickory Creek Road and bridges, the existing Hickory Creek Road is being realigned and reconstructed from Riverpass Drive back Waterside Place.
There is a planned road closure along Hickory Creek Road and Riverpass. This closure will be ongoing for a couple months.
WHEN? - Please watch for Changeable Message Signs on Hickory Creek Road and Riverpass Drive. Weather has been impacting planned activities.
WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING?
The BRIDGE is about to get the FIRST DECK POUR. The bridge is being built and poured in phases/sections and this is the FIRST pour.
SCHEDULE?
The project has experienced some schedule set backs. The schedule is being evaluated for time saving opportunities. The road should be opened to traffic in early 2027.
