Robson Ranch Road Improvements
🚧 Notice to Proceed Issued – Construction Begins August 10, 2026 🚧
The City of Denton has issued the Notice to Proceed for improvements to Robson Ranch Road at the Gibbs Road/Ed Robson Blvd intersection and from Sagehawk Drive to I‑35W. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 10, 2026, with a project cost of approximately $3.2 million. Work is expected to be completed in early 2027.
Beginning August 10, barricades will be installed reducing the current traffic configuration from two lanes to one lane, for both east and west bound traffic, along Robson Ranch Road.
Early construction activities include:
• Potholing to safely identify and expose underground utilities
• Installing best management practices in accordance with the project’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
• Setting up temporary fencing and removing existing signage
