Robson Ranch Roadway Expansion
Denton County and the City of Denton are partnering through an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement to upgrade Robson Ranch Road at Gibbs Road/Ed Robson Boulevard from Sage Hawk to I‑35W. Denton County is providing the completed design and construction funding, and the City of Denton will manage construction for the project.
Planned improvements include widening Robson Ranch Road at Gibbs Road/Ed Robson Boulevard from four lanes to five, adding new left turn lanes and a deceleration lane at the Robson Ranch entrance. Additional improvements from Sage Hawk to I‑35W will widen the roadway from four to five lanes adding new left turn lanes, along with dedicated right turn lanes for entrances along both sides of Robson Ranch Road.

Intersection of Gibbs Road and Robson Ranch Road
The Town of Northlake and the City of Denton are partnering through an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement to upgrade Gibbs Road at Robson Ranch Road. Denton County is providing the completed design and construction funding, and the City of Denton will manage construction for the project.
Planned improvements include widening northbound Gibbs Road at Robson Ranch Road to add a dedicated left turn lane, and will reconfigure the remaining lanes to provide dedicated through and right turn only movements.

Future Project: Intersection of I-35W and Robson Ranch Road
The City of Denton is finalizing an agreement with Denton County for improvements at the I-35W and Robson Ranch intersection. Temporary signalization and related upgrades are expected to be completed by the end of the year, weather permitting and pending any unforeseen utility conflicts. Once the agreement is approved, additional information will be provided.
