Muller Parkway

Douglas County is excited to share that Phase 1 & 3 are substantially complete and are open!

Similar to East Valley and Jacks Valley Road, Muller Parkway will offer a much-needed two-lane alternate route for residents and visitors, helping to ease traffic and improve daily travel. The project represents a significant financial investment in the future transportation needs of our community (approximately $15.6 million) by the County Commission.

The County’s current design includes the construction of two lanes between Points “A” and “B” as shown below in Figure 1 - Overall Site Plan (see red highlight).

Over time, as funding permits, two additional lanes will be added to Muller to further reduce traffic downtown, as well as pave the way for future enhancements like broader sidewalks, improved connectivity, and vibrant streetscapes, aligning with our long-term vision.

Please note: There will be additional ongoing work adjacent to the road within the public right of way related to grading and drainage. While this work continues, the County has confirmed that the roadway and its associated infrastructure meet applicable design and safety standards for opening.
