East Greenwich is preparing for an extraordinary milestone in its storied history, the 350th anniversary of its incorporation since October 31, 1677. To ensure this momentous occasion reflects the pride, diversity, and vibrant community spirit of our residents, the Town has assembled a steering committee and is actively seeking input, ideas, and volunteers. Together, we aim to honor East Greenwich’s rich heritage while celebrating its forward-thinking present, all while shaping a celebration befitting one of Rhode Island's most cherished and esteemed towns.The Town of East Greenwich believes in the power of collaboration and the importance of community voices in shaping meaningful public initiatives.

Volunteer Meeting at Swift

EG350 Volunteer Committee Information Meeting

You are invited to attend a group meeting at the Swift Community Center for all individuals who have submitted an application to volunteer with one of the EG350 committees. This meeting will provide an overview of each subcommittee’s roles and responsibilities and offer attendees the opportunity to select a committee that aligns with their interests and skills.

Participants will also learn about next steps and how their involvement will help shape and support East Greenwich’s 350th Anniversary community celebration.

Location: Swift Community Center, Dining Room

We look forward to bringing volunteers together and beginning this important community-wide effort.
